All of the recipes listed in the Meal Plans are displayed below. Unless otherwise stated, each recipe serves 1. Individual ingredients may be substituted for similar items or vegetarian options to suit individual taste or specific dietary preferences.
Kim Kardashian’s Meal Replacement Shakes
The shake powder should be blended with 200ml ice cold water. This can be done by hand, in a blender or with a shaker. The shake should be consumed immediately once mixed. Although this is the suggested way to blend the shakes, they are a versatile product and may be used in other ways as detailed below:
Additional calories should be taken into account when preparing the shakes in alternative ways.
You will need:
¼ tsp vegetable oil
¼ onion, sliced
½ tsp mild curry powder
1¼ cup vegetable or chicken stock
1 large carrots, washed and chopped
¼ large potato, peeled and chopped
Method:
• Heat oil in a large pot and cook onion until translucent
• Stir through curry powder and cook for one minute
• Add remaining ingredients and bring to the boil
• Cover, reduce heat and simmer for ten minutes or until vegetables are tender
• Remove from heat and puree in a blender until smooth, adding a little extra water if required
• Return to the saucepan and reheat
You will need:
1 pinch of black pepper
¼ clove of garlic, crushed
1 mint leaf, to garnish
1 medium carrot, chopped
½ a small onion, chopped
½ cup of chicken stock
¼ tsp of curry powder
2 Tbsps of orange juice 100%
1 Tbsp of low-fat natural yoghurt
Orange and fresh mint to garnish (optional)
Method:
• In a saucepan, place carrots, onion and a little of the stock
• Cook on low heat for 10 minutes - adding a little water
• Add orange juice, the rest of the stock, curry powder, garlic and pepper
• Simmer for approximately 10 - 15 minutes or until carrots are just tender, can be served hot or chilled with
You will need:
¼ Tbsp olive oil
¼ onion, chopped
2 Tbsp of red lentils
½ tomato, quartered
¼ red chilli, sliced
1 cup vegetable stock, reduced-salt
½ tsp lemon pepper
½ Tbsp tomato paste
Method:
• Heat oil in a heavy based saucepan
• Add onion and cook until soft
• Add lentils, tomatoes, tomato paste, chilli and stock and simmer for 20 minutes
• Remove skins from tomatoes and add lemon pepper to taste, serve hot
You will need:
½ cup (78g) carrot slices
100g of onion
¼ cup (26g) of leek
1 clove (3g) of garlic
1 cup (120g) chopped red pepper
½ cup (75g) sliced courgette
300ml vegetable stock
Method:
• Peel and chop the carrot, onion, leek, garlic and place into a saucepan
• Chop the courgette and pepper and add to the saucepan
• Make up the vegetable stock according to packet instructions and add to the pan
• Bring to the boil and simmer for 15 minutes or until all the vegetables are soft
• The soup can be eaten as it is or blended smooth
